Cranes Software International Limited, through its subsidiary, Systat Software GmbH, successfully acquired Cubeware, a business intelligence product company headquartered in Rosenheim, close to Munich. The Bavarian company is founded by three technology entrepreneurs, from Rosenheim University and records a significant number of customer wins in Germany. The CEO of Cubeware Hermann Hebben had reported in his speech that he is delighted with the Cranes association since he hopes to draw multi fold synergy with the combined business intelligence that Cubeware brings and the statistical intelligence and reporting, graphing engines that Cranes can provide along with a global reach to the Bavarian company. Hermann also noted the cultural synergy between the two product teams, spanning Rosenheim and Bangalore could be an important underpinning for the future growth and profitability of the German company. The CTO and one of the founders of Cubeware, Christian Stollinger is personally managing the product development process of integrating the statistical components into the Cubeware platform. Over the past few months the technical teams have tested the viability of developing a suite of Cubeware value added tools around the product IPs that Cranes have built over the past ten years. Cubeware is slated for global launch in the coming months.
